Hey!

I’m Briam and I am a local artist in the Northern Virginia Area.

I am a very passionate individual with one simple mission. To have my art in as many homes or public areas as possible. I have been drawing, painting, and experimenting with art since I have memory!

I came to the United States in 2006 and rapidly fell in love with the accessibility to Art supplies in high school. The privilege of being exposed to new art Mediums and a better educational art system in the U.S. helped me win a Gold Key (the highest recognition) in the Scholastic Art and writing awards back in 2010 and ever since, I have been improving and expanding in all my art skills.

My art is influenced by the Things I Love the most, taking inspiration from The Old Masters as well as the new Animated and Japanese styles of work. I am self-taught and still learning! My most personal and thought-out pieces are the ones that focus on the nostalgic aspect of my life, often referring back to my country of origin, Peru, family and loved ones. Some of my most personal pieces are also the ones with a hidden message behind them. If I ever call a piece an “original” you better look for all the clues to understand my secret message to the world.
